Congratulations to the United Steelworkers (USW). They're celebrating their 70th anniversary this week in Cleveland.
To commemorate the 70th anniversary of their founding, the USW is holding their first USW "Next Generation" young members conference tomorrow.
USW Glass Workers and the USPA also will be having events in conjunction with the anniversary celebration.
As part of the celebration, USW will hold a variety of programs, including a teach-in today at the Music Hall in the Cleveland Public Auditorium, the very location of the founding convention seven decades ago.
