Americana: Bob Dylan honored with presidential Medal of Freedom

Songwriter Bob Dylan received the presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama at the White House this week to honor a lifetime of contributions to American music and culture.

Dylan, now 71, has recorded more than 40 albums of folk, country, rock, and gospel music.

Dylan has also been a strong advocate of working America, and helped inspire Farm Aid.
