Good American expands from jeans to hoodies and crop tops

We have some good news for Khloé Kardashian fans — the reality television star's Good American label just launched a line of American-made sweats.

Offering sizes 0-24, the Good Sweats collection features shorts, pants, sweaters, hoodies, dresses, and skirts that wrap the wearer in comfort without sacrificing that sought-after fit or style.

The womenswear collection is part of the expanding Good American brand known for its inclusive fits. Started last year by Kardashian and her business partner Emma Grede, the company is also committed to manufacturing garments in Los Angeles.

Pieces are sanded, whiskered, cut and sewn in California using imported fabric. Each Good American garment takes "one hundred hands" to make, according to the company's website

“It means a lot to me to fight to make my denim in the US and be employing good wages to all of my hardworking employees,” Kardashian tweeted late last year.

Those employees must be working hard because the hand-made quality is easy to see and feel. Each style is tested on the company's founders and three separate fit models before making it to customers.

“They felt snug and comfortable, even without a belt,” said one fan who participated in an Elle magazine fit test

As a fellow Good American supporter, I can confirm that the company's jeans are some of the best fitting pants I've found in a long time. Good Sweats are expected to match that quality with each piece being made entirely of cotton.
Garments in the new collection start at $110 and are now available online.
