Fashion Friday is back again! And since the start of Spring has been more like Winter’s after-party, a "Made in USA" way to keep warm is essential.

A quick glance at the Weather Channel's temperature map reveals that the majority of the country is experiencing temperatures of about 50 degrees or fewer. And ... our descent has begun into full-throttle holiday season. Which all adds up to mean one thing: the return of festive sweaters!

I'll just come out and admit it, I'm one of those people who likes to travel in 'comfies.' You know: sweats, flip-flops or slippers, etc. You won't catch me on a six-hour flight in slacks and a blouse or a neatly pressed dress.

And I assume, based on cursory observations in airports and train stations across the country over the last couple of decades, that many of you are like me.

It's raining in DC. It's been raining for a few days now and will continue raining for several more days. While we understand that DC weather is not "everywhere" weather, chances are good that it will, at some point, rain where you are one day too.

Thus, today's Fashion Friday is dedicated to perhaps the most under-appreciated garment in existence: the raincoat.
