Posted by jbianchini on 11/09/2011
On Wednesday, the U.S. Commerce Department opened an official investigation into the dumping of Chinese solar panels in the U.S. market. According to the New York Times, the trade case, which was brought by seven U.S. firms, seeks recourse from subsidized solar panels from China.
President Obama has commented on the case, acknowledging that there are “questionable competitive practices coming out of China” in regards to clean energy.
