Overall Trade Deficit Awful
From U.S. Census Bureau--U.S. Trade in Goods and Services--Balance of Payments Basis: the U.S. was in the positive from 1960 through 1970 (earliest years on table June 9, 2011---from 1971 through 2011, ALL YEARS HAD A NEGATIVE TRADE BALANCE except 1973 and 1975. This negative balance, or trade deficit, has grown each year until the 2011 balance was $47 billion which went OUT OF THE U.S. AND NOT ONE PENNY OF THAT MONEY CAME BACK!! I have seen small groups affect policy...we need at least 100 + people who are committed to trying to protect U.S. workers through changing laws....Lisa Rudisill godslisaru@aol.com
