Julie Eckert serves as the Media Coordinator for the Alliance for American Manufacturing. She graduated in May 2009 from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in English and a minor in foreign affairs.

Ms. Eckert has worked at both the network and local levels of news, completing internships at ABC News in New York City as well as NBC-29 WVIR in Charlottesville, Virginia. She has also completed extensive coursework in foreign affairs, public policy and religion, and has written numerous articles for the University of Virginia’s award-winning student-run newspaper, The Cavalier Daily.
