Rachel Bennett Steury with Senator Kruse
AAM Field Coordinators Mike Mitchell and Rachel Bennett Steury attended the Indiana state Republican Party convention this past weekend to take AAM’s message about China’s currency manipulation to the delegates present at the event.
State Senator Dennis Kruse of the 14th District of Indiana came by the AAM booth and signed a letter to federal legislators in support of S 3134 and H 2378 which aims to make the United States’ relationship with China more balanced and fair for American workers.
Our field coordinators were pleased to see Senator Kruse and other convention attendees recognized the importance of maintaining a strong manufacturing base in the nation in order to maintain economic and national security.
Vendor Ron Simon
Rachel and Mike also talked with Ron Simon, a vendor who operates a campaign printing and merchandise business who realizes how crucial it is to keep it made in America. Simon’s business, Republican Depot, works nationwide to provide campaign material that is made in the U.S. According to his website:
“Republican Depot is an industry expert in the design and productions of USA-made campaign products. Buying and offering USA only made products proves that you are serious about creating and maintaining jobs in America where they belong.”Our field coordinator's success at the event goes to show, once again, that bolstering American manufacturing is an issue applicable to both parties.
