Megan Salrin, Public Policy Intern

As the daughter of a member of the United Steelworkers, Megan knows the importance of keeping and creating jobs in America. She is eager to use her experience at home and in Washington, D.C. to advocate for American manufacturing.

Before joining AAM as a public policy intern, Megan served as a United States Senate Page for Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.). She also interned for Rep. Peter J. Visclosky (D-Ind.) and served as a State Delegate for Jasper County in Indiana at the Indiana Democratic State Convention.

Megan recently completed her sophomore year of college at Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Ind.  While at Saint Joe, Megan competed in NCAA Division II Women's Golf and participated in many organizations. Megan plans to complete her undergraduate education at Valparaiso University, studying economics, political science, and mathematics. After graduation, she hopes to join the Peace Corps or attend graduate school.
