We present an American-made Wedding Guide.

I got engaged just before COVID hit and, like many others, I spent the next year navigating what weddings would even look like on the other side of a pandemic. When we finally tied the knot, I wanted our celebration to be more than just a party — I wanted it to reflect our values, our community and the resilience it took to get there. That included making thoughtful choices about what we wore, gifted and used — especially supporting American-made goods wherever possible.

Jeff Bezos, meanwhile, recently got married in Venice and reportedly dropped $50 million in doing it. Judging by the business practices of the company he founded, it’s unlikely that cartoonish sum was directed toward American-made gifts, materials and accessories.

But you don’t have to be like Bezos. Planning a wedding is a chance to celebrate not just love, but intention. And while finding items that are truly Made in the USA can be a little tricky, it’s absolutely worth the effort. This guide features a curated list of attire, gifts, registry must-haves and décor — all crafted with care by American makers. Some of these products I personally used in my own wedding, and others are simply too good not to share.

Here’s to creating a celebration that reflects your heart, your values and your story:

💍 Wedding Bands & Jewelry

The rings may be small, but they carry big meaning. From hand-carved wood to luxury silicone and silver, these bands and accessories are all about celebrating love with a personal (and patriotic) touch.

Rustic & Main – Handmade in North Carolina from reclaimed whiskey barrels, historic rifle stock, elk antler or even battleship decking. My husband wears one of their handcrafted wood and metal bands—it’s as meaningful as it is durable.

Ensō Rings – Based in the Rockies, these nontraditional silicone wedding bands are great for active couples. Comfortable, customizable and assembled in the USA.

Tiffany & Co. – Tiffany’s sterling silver jewelry is an American classic, and while some finishing work (like polishing) is done outside the U.S., many of their silver pieces are designed and assembled domestically. I gave a signature silver bracelet to my bridal party, mom and mother-in-law as a thank-you gift. Perhaps a gift to give your loved one before they walk down the aisle. There’s just something special about giving (or receiving) that little blue box.

Anson USA – Classic cufflinks made in Rhode Island since 1938, perfect gift for groom, groomsmen or guests in suits.

Note: Decoding the Labels – Not all bridal dresses that say “USA” are made the same. Here’s how to break down the language when you go shopping for your perfect gown:

  • Made in the USA: The entire gown was designed, cut and sewn in the U.S., with all or nearly all materials sourced domestically.
  • Designed in the USA: The creative work happened here, but the actual gown was made somewhere else.
  • Hand-finished in the USA: This usually means the dress was imported and then received a few final touches in the USA.  https://allamerican.org/research/how-to-find-made-in-usa/
