The 2025 Made in America Holiday Gift Guide

Nov 12 2025 |

The Alliance for American Manufacturing is thrilled to unveil the 12th edition of the Made in America Holiday Gift Guide, our annual collection of American-made gift ideas from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

This year, we’re exclusively featuring Made in America companies that have not been included in our previous Gift Guides, which is no small feat since our team of shopping experts has been at this since 2013! We uncovered both new-to-us heritage brands and ones that are just getting their start. We also purposely selected an eclectic mix of items at a variety of price points, so there’s something Made in America for everyone on your list! And, in a new segment, we’ve rounded up a list of local stores that specialize in goods made in their states.

If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, scroll to the bottom of this page for previous editions of the guide, or check out the Made in America Directory.

We’ve grouped gift ideas by product category on this page, but you can also navigate it by state. Happy shopping!

We honestly can’t believe we’ve never featured Red Wing Shoes before; it’s a great find this holiday season!

Don’t forget to source Made in USA wrapping paper! Aspen and Arlo’s holiday designs have a chic sensibility but with plenty of whimsy, and all their wrapper paper is designed, printed and packed in their Fayetteville studio. Our Arlo and Aspen favorites include this classic jolly Santa, this Miracle on 34 Street-evocative city scene, these adorably aloof Santa-hatted cats, and this understated red wrapping paper that’s the perfect complement to a Ralph Lauren Christmas.

Picture it: your home is full of elegant placemats, rugs and doormats. You can make that dream a reality with Chilewich. Although designed and headquartered in New York City, the vast majority of Chilewich’s products are manufactured in Chatsworth, Ga. Chilewich invented its own yarn made partially of renewable vegetable content in order to be more sustainable, in addition to its commitment to manufacture almost entirely in the United States (only a tiny portion of its products are made overseas, so check labels). We love the holiday-specific placemats, including this Nutcracker-themed piece. Perfect for anyone who’s currently doing some seasonally appropriate decorating!

Looking for an alternative to the same old holiday card designs you see every year? Want to honor your furry best friend with this year’s missive? NoticeablyNoted’s holiday dog and cat series couldn’t be more adorable. Designer Laurel Hamilton designs each card from her Round Rock studio and taps printers in Pelham, Ala., and Van Nuys, Calif., for production.

Stocksdale Custom Woodworking is a first responder, family-owned business. From American-sourced wood, they handcraft charcuterie and cutting boards, coat racks, wooden flags, ornaments and whatever custom design you can dream up! There are both ready-made and custom options.

Stocking Stuffers

Handcrafted from real bourbon barrel wood, Bourbon Pens are totally one-of-a-kind and made even more unique when you customize your pen with an engraving. You can even select the distillery from which your bourbon barrel pen is made.

Tuck a little sustainability into someone’s stocking with Hummingbird Glass Straws – reusable, colorful and way more fun than plastic. They make smoothies, coffee or cocoa taste better (trust us!) and are safe for both kids and adults. Easy to clean and made to last, they’re a small gift that adds a big dose of cheer to every sip.

When two entrepreneurial grandmas created a diabetic safe candy, Ice Chips was born! These tin candies are made with xylitol, a natural sweetener that doesn’t spike blood sugar and, as a bonus, will mineralize teeth! They have classic flavors like mint and lemon, or fun ones to try like sour apple and root beer float.

A snack treat that’s hard to resist is the Crackshews from Padiano’s Kitchen in Bixby. A bag of flavored cashews is a simple treat ideal for stocking stuffers. Choose from Flame Spicy, Chile Lime, Cheddar Jalapeno and Smoke Steakhouse or get them all in a variety four-pack for $20.

RAXA 3D in Albuquerque offers inexpensive 3D printed toys for children. The animal-shaped figures range in cost from $5 to $10 and make ideal stocking stuffers or box several up for a complete gift. Every model is designed to be played with, touched and displayed. Check out the hermit crab and raccoons, or get exotic with an axolotl.

You don’t see too many sleeping masks that look like those from SLEEPHAMMER. These are works of art, highly detailed with sequin and embroidery embellishment. Handmade by an artist in New Orleans and all over Instagram and Etsy, these masks don’t come in bulk. The mask you purchase will be uniquely yours. A SLEEPHAMMER mask would make a great stocking stuffer for someone who wants a little style as they slumber.

Home

In the small town of Hartland, artisan woodworkers are handcrafting bowls, boards and decorative trees. The wood pieces that Andrew Pearce sells are made from the highest quality New England-sourced lumber. That shows in the sheer quality of these magnificent home and kitchen items. There’s truly something for everyone here, whether you’re a chef looking to expand your kitchen or hoping to decorate your home with pine trees for the holidays.

The Bates Mill Store is a family-owned and operated business that sells bedspreads, blankets, throws and more in Monmouth. Once the proprietor of the historic Bates Mill textiles, its heirloom items are now manufactured at Maine Heritage Weavers since the Bates Mill shut down in 2001.

Dirty South Pottery

The artist behind this southern Louisiana project works primarily with salvaged wood to turn out trunks, vases, and picture and mirror frames. Bergeron Woodworks also does custom furniture. Eclectic stuff. Shop online or find Bergeron in select retail outlets or upcoming shows.

The throws, blankets, towels, napkins and table runners sold by Covered in Cotton all come from cotton grown on a family farm in Darlington County before it is ginned, spun and weaved at elsewhere in the state or just across the state line in North Carolina.

Owned by husband-and-wife team Carvel and Ashley Norman, Dirty South Pottery makes kitchen and table ceramics that bring handcrafted charm to all your meals. Every piece is designed to be easily handled and stored, so there’s no need to keep these serving dishes, plates and bowls hidden in a display case. Enjoy them every day!

Covered in Cotton

Dunes and Duchess creates small furniture and lighting accents of hand-turned, hand-finished pieces made at its New Milford workshop. Hardwoods are sourced from Pennsylvania Amish sawmills and are turned into products for the homeowner in search of a New England style décor.

In Menomonee Falls, Hiawatha Woodworks is where craftsmanship and tradition come together. Owner John Glenn grew up on a dairy farm where helping his father with projects sparked a lifelong love of woodworking. Today, he creates handcrafted cutting boards, whiskey barrel clocks, and coasters. Since starting his business about four years ago, John has shared his work at local markets and through his online shop.

Beautifully crafted plates and bowls are the work of Laura Zindel Design in Brattleboro. The process starts with clay sourced from a New England clay maker, which is then pressed and molded (using handmade molds). After trimming and glazing the dishes, all that’s left to do is apply the design made by Laura Zindel herself. This process happens every time a piece is ordered since each dish is handmade to your order. These are truly heirloom pieces and a beautiful addition to any holiday table.

Luara Zindel Design

With everything made in the USA, from the glass to the packaging, these pieces are a perfect gift for anyone who loves the outdoors, great design, or a beautiful way to raise a cheer this season.

The Hat Rack Guy

Furniture

Blue Ridge Chair Works are handmade in Asheville. This portable outdoor furniture company has been handcrafting for over 30 years. They pride their product on being long-lasting and timeless, and source most of their wood from the northwestern part of the Tar Heel State.

When native West Virginian Gat Caperton entered business school in the 90s, he knew he wanted to own and operate a manufacturing business in his home state. So, when he graduated, he made a full-court press to buy out a Berkeley Springs furniture manufacturer. And it worked. Gat acquired a furniture-making business in 1996, just a few years before the China Shock hit and a flood of imported furniture hit the U.S. market. Inauspicious timing but Gat Creek fought to differentiate itself from the imports by delivering unparalleled American-made quality. Today, the brand’s solid-wood dining room, bedroom and living room furniture celebrates the artisans who sign and date each of the pieces they craft.

The Hat Rack Guy is Rich Sartain, a veteran showing his love for western decor with his American-made catalog of it. Using locally sourced wood, he crafts hat, boot, gun, bathroom and towel racks. Seriously, this is the place for racks. A great functional item for any house or barn.

This manufacturer from the greater Little Rock area produces furniture “tailored for modern spaces” while preserving traditional craftsmanship, and it shows; each sleek piece from Naturalstated Fabricators is the result of expert design and craftsmanship. The prices reflect the quality, and vary by design, finish and product dimension.

Naturalstated Fabricators

Manufacturing in Rhode Island for more than 25 years, Seaside Casual wants you to be more comfortable lounging on your weekends! Its outdoor furniture is crafted from premium materials like Envirowood, a recycled marine-grade polymer, so you don’t have to worry about it tarnishing over time. You can trust Seaside Casual to be transparent with its sourcing, clearly noting which products may include imported components.

An independent, family-owned company in Destin, Sunrise Chair Co. makes its chairs locally with the finest Georgia white timber oak and fabric manufactured in South Carolina.

Kitchen

Is there anything more American than a grill? Americana Grills certainly doesn’t think so. Since 1959, this company (owned by the Meco corporation) has been making extremely classic grills in Greenville. You’ll love making burgers and hot dogs in the summer months (or, depending on how warm it is where you live, even in the winter!). In an environment where the manufacturing of many grills has been outsourced, Americana Grills is keeping it right here.

Americana Grills

The Great Alaskan Bowl Company hand-carves and -crafts timeless wooden bowls in Fairbanks from local birch. But these vessels are not only decorative. The company’s special curing process makes each bowl fully usable in the kitchen. In partnership with the National Forest Foundation, the Great Alaskan Bowl Company plants a tree for every bowl sold.

Do you know where your baking powder comes from? Mine – made by Clabber Girl – comes from Terre Haute. Clabber Girl, which you’ve undoubtedly seen in a grocery store aisle, has been a trusted brand for more than 150 years. It makes corn starch and baking soda, too! A good stocking stuffer for the baker on your list.

Treeworks

It doesn’t get more Maryland than crab. What better way to celebrate your love for this seafood haven than with The Sheller? Invented by musician Shelby Blondell, this ingenious product doubles as a mallet and picker for crabs and a bottle opener. Super valuable if you’re looking towards some outdoor gatherings this summer and ready to chow down on crab, lobster or oysters.

The husband-and-wife duo behind Treeworks source the wood they use from the trees near their house to handmake kitchen utensils. It helps that the husband is a certified arborist! The collection isn’t limited to your normal fork, knife and spoon; the company has invented a few fun hybrid items too, like the foon and spoontula!

Tools

Founded, owned and operated by a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, Dan’s Whetstone sources all the materials it turns into files and bench stones from its own quarries. Sharpen your knives and other tools on genuine black Arkansas novaculite, which the company highlights as the rarest and finest abrasive stone in existence.

If you live out on a big spread of land, you’re probably toting a chainsaw to clear trees or maintain your property on a regular basis but throwing it into your tractor is a hazard for both you and your expensive equipment. Years of testing and lived experience have refined GearHaul‘s Made in Chanute universal mount chainsaw storage. It’s easy to mount and safe. While you’re shopping, grab bucket and tool mounts for your tractor, too. You know you’ll need them!

You can also get a cool little $6.50 anvil-shaped bottle opener, otherwise unadorned, “for anyone looking to try their hand at forging with basic tools.”

Give your pup the gift of comfy walks with the FRONT Harness, a no-pull, adjustable harness made in the USA. Durable and comfortable, it’s even packaged in American-made materials. A perfect gift for the furry family member who deserves something special under the tree.

If you like glassware, you’ve come to the right place: The Blenko Glass Company makes bowls, vases, drinkware, ornaments, water bottles, sun catchers and other little oddities – like my favorite: The West Virginia cryptid collector’s trio, which includes little replicas of the Grafton monster, the Flatwoods monster and (of course) the mothman of Point Pleasant.

Wind River Chimes

Blessed Hex is a Wilmington-based company born during the Covid-19 pandemic that hand pours scented candles, but it’s not just an olfactory experience you’re purchasing; each product comes with a spooky backstory written out with it. These candles are a vibe. Try its signature fragrance, Nefertiti’s Sarcophagus, which the company calls “a sophisticated take on fresh linen.”

Food & Drink

Back in the 1970s, Fred Smith discovered a passion for growing jalapeno peppers, and he wanted to share his bounty with friends and family by supplying his own farm-to-table hot sauce, making as much as 50-100 gallons per year. He kept refining his recipe for 20 years until finally launching Alabama Sunshine in 1995. Today, Alabama Sunshine makes delicious farm-to-table hot sauces, BBQ sauces, jams and relishes that celebrate Southern tradition and local pepper growers.

Owning and operating the only commercial flour mill in Alaska, the Alaska Flour Company family grows and grinds their own whole-grain barley to make their original line of pre-made mixes for baked goods, soups and grains for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert! The Capital Candy Jar makes all its delicious confections by hand just a few blocks away from the U.S. Capitol building. There’s multiple holiday and winter gift box options, making this an easy way to gift sweet treats. Plus: It sells this decadent Advent calendar with truffles! A must for anyone who believes the best way to celebrate the holidays is with sweets!

When you need something done right, like a cocktail that’ll cure your hangover, you sometimes gotta do it yourself. But don’t buy all those Bloody Mary ingredients; buy a pack of ready-made Devil Daves Bloody Mary Sticks. They’re TSA-safe and (as the company points out) airlines typically serve tomato juice on commercial flights. So, make it happen: If you share a photo of yourself enjoying an airbound Bloody Mary made with Devil Daves, the company will give you a discount off your next purchase.

Fascia’s Chocolates is a family-owned confectioner that has been making its fine chocolates the old-fashioned way in Waterbury for more than 60 years. Time-honored methods of stirring in a copper kettle and cooling on a marble slab are the recipe for every delicacy made in-house, by hand.
