The Catrike has received six awards for Trike of the Year and the company was named the 2008 Manufacturer of the Year with less than 100 employees by the Manufacturer Association of Central Florida. FURNITURE

Challenge Program Furniture

Wilmington, Deleware

About Challenge Program Furniture

Challenge Program Furniture was first featured in the Made in America Holiday Gift Guide in 2020, but it’s such a cool company we decided to run it back. CP Furniture’s sales support the eponymous Challenge Program, a Wilmington nonprofit founded in 1995 that teaches construction and life skills to at-risk youth. Some of the program’s graduates stay on to work in the furniture shop as apprentices, which for them means jobs and advanced training in woodworking and furniture making. The stuff they crank out is really stylish, too; tables, chairs, shelving, custom orders, and a really nice sit-stand desk.
