As a public policy intern, Ian attends hearings on Capitol Hill, conducts research on topics related to American manufacturing, and helps around the office anyway he can. He is enthusiastic about American manufacturing and learned a lot from his grandfather who worked in the aluminum and manufacturing sectors for nearly 50 years.
Before joining the AAM team, Ian spent five years serving as a paratrooper in the United States Army. He is currently pursuing a joint bachelor’s degree in international political economy and master’s degree in international affairs at the Pennsylvania State University. Ian is also minoring in business, French, and global security and is active in many school organizations.
Ian has a passion for classic video games, film noir, and world travel. He hopes to one-day work in the foreign service or anywhere else that will let him explore and experience new cultures.
