Margo Ellis is a communications intern for the Alliance for American Manufacturing. A rising junior at Denison University in Granville, Ohio, Margo is studying Politics & Public Affairs, Journalism, and French. Originally from Akron, Ohio, she grew up surrounded by Northeast Ohio’s diverse manufacturing industries and saw firsthand the importance of keeping manufacturing local. Coming from a manufacturing family, she also understands what it’s like to work in American factories and spent her summers growing up working in her family’s tool & die shop in Akron.
Additionally, Margo is a writer at heart and will happily listen to anyone who has a story to share. Following her undergraduate studies, she hopes to pursue a Master’s degree in Journalism or communications studies.
