Alden

The Alden Shoe Company, founded in 1884, was one of hundreds of shoe manufacturers in New England in the 19th century. However, as other manufacturers sought to produce their goods in other countries, taking advantage of cheap labor and materials, Alden chose to remain in the United States, producing the highest quality leather shoes possible. Today, Alden’s men dress shoes are sold worldwide.
