Frustrated with poorly-fitted pants for working women, Sarah Calhoun founded Red Ants Pants to provide rugged work pants truly designed for the female form. However, the company also sells a variety of other products for hardworking women, varying from pullover hoodies to silk scarves. Calhoun has been recognized by President Obama, the Governor Schweitzer of Montana, and several national publications for her entrepreneurship and leadership. In 2011 the Red Ants Pants founder established the Red Ants Pants Music Festival in rural Montana and the nonprofit Red Ants Pants Foundation to support women’s leadership, family farms, and rural communities.
