Policy Specialist

As AAM’s Policy Specialist, Luke assists in documenting developments of issues relevant to AAM priorities, creating reports and fact sheets, summarizing legislative hearings, coordinating awareness campaigns, compiling petitions, and analyzing data.

Prior to joining AAM, Luke worked with the American Security Project researching topics related to American trade policy and creating an economic competitive advantage for the United States in the 21st century, as well as economic security, infrastructure, corporate tax shifting, and production locations of the defense industrial base. His report “Principles in Action: Economic Diplomacy as the New Face of American Global Leadership”, was published by ASP.

Additionally, Luke served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army supporting missions in both EUCOM and COCOM. As a Platoon Leader in a Patriot Missile Battalion stationed in Kaiserslautern Germany, Luke was responsible for the training, development, and wartime competence of all soldiers under his command. He also participated in numerous exercises with NATO allies and other training partners.
