BURU
Los Angeles, California
About BURU
When BURU Founder/CEO Morgan Hutchinson launched her women’s apparel company in 2013, she wanted to make clothing that offered “effortless-yet-functional polish” and she wanted at least a portion of all her collections to be Made in America, so Hutchinson slowly built up her own micro-factory. Today, BURU’s 40-person manufacturing team in Los-Angeles is an integral part of the brand’s success, shortening production times, balancing inventory, and correcting errors early. Although not all of the family-owned brand’s classic clothing is Made in America, much of it is, and country-of-origin labeling is spotlighted for everything it sells.
